Happy Saturday!
It’s the Victoria Day long weekend here – also known as May 2 4 weekend, and the unofficial start of the Canadian summer. And of course, it’s pouring down rain here in Central Ontario! I feel kind of bad for all the campers and cottagers who were hoping to get a jump on their outside time today! But the rain is supposed to stop sometime tomorrow, I think so at least they’ll have a nice day on Monday!
As for me, I’m working away today getting email sequences written, and other work done today so that if it does turn out to be a nice day either tomorrow or Monday, I can take a drive down to the beach!
Last night I actually went out for a bit and went to the community watch party for our local hockey team. They would’ve won their league championship if they’d won last night, but alas… Hopefully they can close the deal at the next home game. But, it was fun to get out and be around people for a bit. I don’t spend too much time out doing stuff now that Shaun’s not around to go with me, so it was a good first step to be in a crowd by myself.
