It’s the start of a long weekend here in Canada, and I’m looking forward to getting to the beach at least one day this weekend. When I was a kid, we had a summer cottage and this was always the weekend that we went out and opened it up. For years my cousin and I had an unofficial contest to see who would be the first one into the lake, and for the longest time it was me until he bought a house at the other end of the beach and lived there full time. And let me tell you, Lake Erie was still mighty cold at the end of May!
Since there are a ton of content sales going on right now including my own store closing sale, I thought it might be a good idea to talk about buying DFY content, and how to decide what you should buy and what you should leave on the table.

Are you buying DFY content, but not using it?
It’s a well-known fact that people love buying DFY content. Whether it ever gets used or not is a different story. People (myself included) love to buy content, but they rarely put it to work for them. Just this morning I’ve already bought 3 different packs in 3 different niches because “I can do something with that!”
As a content vendor, every once in awhile I will remind you to only buy what you need and what you have an immediate use for. The rest of it will be there later when you need it. But I’m afraid I’m much better at preaching this than I am at practising it myself.
So, in order to figure out what I should buy and what I should leave for another day, I have a system now.
