Happy Sunday!
It’s another beautiful day here in Central Ontario! We were supposed to get some storms this afternoon, but it looks like that’s been moved to tomorrow, so I’m going to try and get outside again this afternoon for awhile.
My birthday golf yesterday was a good time. We didn’t even think about the damage the 66mm of rain we got on Thursday and Friday affect the golf course which is right by the canal and a mini-swamp on the best of days. So, when we pulled up and the parking lot was fairly empty, it was no surprise to find that the Par 3 course we were planning on playing was closed, and the only thing open was what they call the “top 9” of the executive course. So we played 6 holes of that and walked the whole thing because even though it was on higher ground, it was still pretty swampy in places and no power carts were allowed.
Let me tell you, my calves are still screaming today!
So today I have a couple of errands to run, because I was too done for yesterday to go back out after getting all my golf gear back up the stairs. And the only work-related thing I’m doing today is planning out the upcoming week.
