Happy Wednesday!

It’s been a very quiet day here. I’ve been head down, trying to work on my taxes all day so haven’t done much of anything else up until now. I didn’t even get out for a walk today, because I woke up feeling pretty crappy this morning. I’m feeling a lot better now… been drinking lots of tea and trying to stay calm all day. I’m pretty sure I’m just feeling out of sorts because of this tax stuff, and everything will be much better once it’s all done!

Reason #1 – Focusing too much on the end goal

It’s good to have a goal and something to work toward, but it can also be a block when you’re creating something new. If you’re too attached to what you think the end result should be, you’re not present in the creative process and it’s hard to come up with something new.

Instead of being overly focused on the end result, allow yourself to focus on the process and enjoy the flow of creative energy instead.
