That probably sounds a little stalkerish, but it’s really not what you think!

Happy Tuesday!

Thanks for all the feedback on yesterday’s newsletter. I got enough positive feedback that it gave me the confidence to choose the new format again today!

And I got a couple of questions around why I wanted to change my format in the first place.

That’s where the watching comes in.

I don’t know about you, but I’m on a lot of people’s newsletters. I participate in a lot of bundles and giveaways, and I also sign up for a lot of events that I’m not participating in but that speak to the markets that I’d like to have more of a presence in.

So I spend a lot of time watching and learning what successful marketers in other niches do.

And here are a few things I’ve noticed:

1. They spend more time promoting their products than affiliate products.

2. They don’t do laundry lists.

3. When they do an affiliate promotion, it usually comes in the form of a solo mail and has some personal connection attached.

4. They write like they’re writing to a friend.

The truth is, that’s the kind of email I’ve always wanted to be confident enough to send. And it’s taken me ages to find the courage to try.

Don’t get me wrong… there’s nothing wrong with laundry lists if that’s what your audience wants and what they expect from you. And, if it still makes you happy to do them. Because believe me, when you’re not happy that energy comes through in email loud and clear. And I know that’s been the case for me some days.

So, what I’m thinking going forward is “Laundry List Roundups” on Wednesday and Sunday as usual. And new emails, sometimes solos only during the rest of the week. And who knows… maybe some days where I just share information, and don’t ask you to buy a damn thing.

If that sounds good to you, hit reply and let me know.

Here’s what I have for you today…

Mighty Prompts by Kate Riley

I’ve known Kate for years and have a library of most of her courses and templates, so I was really excited to see her latest product when she told me about it last week. Mighty Prompts is a huge collection of this “game-changing” library of DFY prompts for Chat GPT.
